Ardmore, OK — January 3, 2026, two teenagers were killed due to a car accident which occurred Saturday afternoon along Mary Niblack Road.
Authorities were called to the crash scene, between Ardmore and Dickson at the intersection of Mary Niblack and 3rd Avenue Northeast.
Investigators said that two Dickson High students were in a car going along Mary Niblack. The vehicle somehow ran off-road, and it crashed into a tree. Ultimately, both teens died in the accident.

My sincere hope for this situation is that it gets the investigation it deserves. Too often, I’ve seen crashes involving young drivers where people just jumped to conclusions due to the age of the driver. Even authorities sometimes let their bias get in the way of a proper accident reconstruction.
Like any serious accident, though, it’s up to the evidence to say what happened. After all, the victims aren’t around to give their side of the story. A proper investigation should be able to focus on the facts so they can tell the victims’ story in their stead and get the families the answers they deserve.
