Lewisville, TX — November 11, 2023, a pedestrian was injured in a car accident just before 7:15 in the evening on Fox Avenue.
According to reports, a Chevy Tahoe was traveling eastbound on Fox Avenue approaching the Edmonds Lane intersection when the accident occurred.
For reasons yet to be confirmed, a 46-year-old man was attempting to cross Fox Avenue and was not seen by the driver of the Tahoe. The Tahoe struck the pedestrian, causing the man to come to rest in the sidewalk on the south side of Fox Avenue. He reportedly sustained severe injuries as a result of the collision and was transported by EMS to a local hospital in order to receive immediate treatment. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reportedly cloudy and dry. There are not currently any additional details available pertaining to this incident.
