League City, TX — November 26, 2023, a man was killed and a woman was injured in a car accident just after 1:30 a.m. along Farm to Market 646.
According to authorities, the accident took place on F.M. 646 between Tuscan Lakes Boulevard and South Shore Boulevard.
A 27-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman had been traveling in a pickup truck when, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the vehicle veered off of the road and into a roadside ditch. The pickup struck a barbed wire fence, causing it to flip front to back. The woman who had been in the vehicle was reportedly injured as a result of the crash; she was transported to a nearby medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive treatment. The man who had also been involved in the accident had been ejected from the vehicle through the sunroof during the crash, according to reports; he was declared deceased at the scene of the accident.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reportedly cloudy and dry. There are not currently any additional details available pertaining to this incident.
