After any serious car accident, it’s important to make sure authorities look into certain key possible factors. Did road conditions play a role? Were the vehicles inspected for defects? Did authorities look for nearby cameras? Did they secure electronic data from the vehicles and the drivers’ phones? Generally speaking, if authorities looked into these possibilities, that generally suggests they did good investigations.
