Accident Report

July 6, 2026, three people were injured following a car accident that took place at around 10:50 p.m. along the Southwest Freeway.

Authorities said that the crash took place along northbound lanes of the Southwest Freeway at Mandell Street, just west of Main Street.

According to officials, a 47-year-old woman and two young teens were in a Nissan Sentra going along the interstate. An 18-year-old woman was in a Hyundai Elantra. Police say that a 23-year-old man in an Acura failed to control speed, and the vehicles all collided.

Due to the crash, the two minors in the Nissan had serious injuries. The Acura driver had less severe injuries. Right now, additional details about the crash are unavailable.
