How Did This Accident Occur?
People tend to assume single-vehicle accidents happen when drivers are going too fast or texting and driving. I’ve seen more than my fair share of that in this line of work, so it wouldn’t be surprising if that happened here.
What most people don’t see, however, are the many crashes which happen due to tire blowouts, vehicle defects, medical conditions, road hazards, hit-and-runs, poor road design or maintenance, and the myriad of other possible factors that can cause car accidents. Those don’t often make the news because they typically require further independent investigations to bring to light.
If authorities have been more thorough behind the scenes to get answers here, maybe they already ruled out that sort of thing. My point is just that people should avoid jumping to conclusions unless all possible factors here have been thoroughly considered.
