How Did This Accident Occur?
When vehicles traveling the same direction along an interstate collide, it’s usually the result of common factors like distraction, speeding, or following too closely. It could be something like that happened here, as well. However, investigations also need to consider other possible factors—even unlikely ones. Vehicle defects, road hazards, alcohol, medical conditions, roadway design or maintenance problems, etc. If families ever feel authorities aren’t looking into those things, it’s prudent to consider having another set of eyes look things over, even if it’s just to rule out those other possibilities.
