May 29, 2026, two teenagers were injured following a car accident at around 3:41 p.m. along Interstate 20.

According to initial details about the accident, it happened along westbound lanes of the interstate at Ric Williamson Memorial Highway.

Investigators said that three teens, ages 16, 14, and 13, were in a Ford Ranger going along I-20. Three men, 27, 23, and 23, were in a Chevy Silverado. Authorities say that the vehicles crossed paths and collided.

Due to the accident, the 13-year-old from the Ford was seriously injured. The 14-year-old was moderately injured. No other injuries were confirmed. At this time, additional details about the accident are unavailable.
