March 16, 2026, a man sustained injuries resulting from a car accident at around 10:30 p.m. along Interstate 20.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened a few miles southwest of Weatherford near Brock Junction. Authorities said that a 42-year-old man was in a Chevy Trailblazer going westbound along the interstate. A Toyota Tacoma was going westbound, as well. Somehow, those two vehicles collided, along with an unoccupied SUV.
Due to the crash, the driver of the Chevy had serious injuries. No other injuries were reported. At this time, additional details are unconfirmed.
How Did This Accident Occur?
Any late night crash is going to raise red flags for things like distracted driving, fatigue, or alcohol. They’re all important to consider, but it stands out to me there was apparently an unoccupied vehicle somehow involved in this crash. That’s not unusual along a neighborhood street, but this crash seemed to happen on the interstate. Why was there an unoccupied vehicle? Was it disabled in the roadway and blocking traffic lanes? Was it on the shoulder without its lights on? Was it a state trooper in the middle of a traffic stop with its overhead lights activated?
There are a lot of unanswered questions about this crash, but that one in particular stands out to me. Does anyone else have theories about what happened here? Let me know in the comments.
