Houston, TX — May 4, 2024, one person was killed and another was injured in a car accident just after 10:30 a.m. along the I.H. 610 service road.
According to authorities, a 31-year-old man was traveling in a southbound GMC Yukon along Irvington Boulevard at the eastbound service road intersection for North Loop East when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Yukon and an eastbound Toyota Camry collided in the intersection. Reports state that it is unclear which vehicle had the right of way at the time of the accident. The 31-year-old was reportedly ejected from the Yukon over the course of the accident. He incurred fatal injuries as a result and was declared deceased upon arrival to a local hospital. The other victim who was in the Camry—a 30-year-old man—also suffered injuries and was transported by EMS to a hospital in order to receive necessary treatment.
