Houston, TX — February 17, 2024, one person was killed in a car accident sometime during the night along the Interstate Highway 45 service road.
According to authorities, one person was traveling in a Nissan Altima on the I.H. 45 northbound service road in the vicinity of the Remington Valley Road intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Nissan attempted a lane change at an unsafe time. This resulted in a collision with a Chevy Equinox. After striking the Equinox, the Nissan also collided with a Dodge Ram before veering off of the roadway and entering a grassy area. There, it reportedly crashed into a tree and burst into flames. The driver of the Nissan incurred fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
