Houston, TX — August 24, 2025, a man was injured as the result of a car accident at around 9:25 a.m. along Hammerly Boulevard.
According to preliminary details about the accident, it took place at the intersection of Hammerly Boulevard and Blalock Road.
Investigators said that a 35-year-old man was in a Nissan Altima going eastbound on Hammerly. Somehow, a chain-reaction crash occurred with a Mazda and a Honda.
Due to the accident, the Nissan driver was seriously injured. No other injuries were confirmed. Further information about the crash is unavailable.

People often think car accidents are simple just because they’re common. The reality is they can all present unique challenges, and authorities aren’t always willing or able to meet those challenges. This is why a lot of the people I talk to on a daily basis have concerns that details are being overlooked. How can that be avoided?
Simply put, having two sets of eyes look things over is often a prudent first step. If authorities are doing a good job already, an independent investigation can confirm their findings and reassure folks they’re getting the answers they deserve. If authorities are coming up short, another look at the facts can help catch important information that slipped through the cracks.
Even car crashes that may seem open-and-shut can end up being more complex when given the proper attention. I see no reason right now why this crash would be an exception.
