Houston, TX — September 6, 2024, a man was killed due to a single-vehicle car accident shortly before 8:30 p.m. along Greens Parkway.
According to authorities, a 60-year-old man was traveling in a northbound Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck on Greens Parkway in the vicinity of Greensmark Drive when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the pickup truck failed to safely maintain its lane of travel. It reportedly veered off of the roadway and crashed into a tree. The man suffered apparently critical injuries as a result of the wreck and was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive immediate treatment. However, he was ultimately unable to overcome the severity of his injuries, having later been declared deceased on September 13, 2024.
