Accident Report

July 18, 2026, two people were injured following a car accident which took place around 11:23 p.m. on Homestead Road.

According to information from authorities, the crash happened at the intersection of Homestead Road and E. Mt. Houston Road.

Authorities said that a 21-year-old woman, an 18-year-old woman, and a minor were in a Hyundai Elantra going northbound on Homestead. A Toyota Camry was going southbound. Officials say one of the drivers may have run the light, resulting in a crash.

Due to the accident, the 18-year-old woman from the Hyundai was seriously injured. The minor had non-life-threatening injuries. It’s unclear if anyone else was hurt.
