How Did This Accident Occur?
It’s far too early to draw any conclusions about what happened here. One thing does stand out to me, though, and I wonder if anyone else is wondering the same thing.
Authorities identified the vehicle as a new model, and these days most new vehicles have some kind of last assistance feature or at least a lane departure warning. I wonder if this particular vehicle had those features, and if so, how they performed. That might not have any affect on the accident as a whole, but it’s something that authorities might not have thought to look into.
Do any readers have this same model vehicle who can share what sort of safety features the car has and whether they might help in a situation like this?
