Harris County, TX — March 10, 2025, two people sustained injuries due to a car accident at around 12:52 a.m. along Grand Parkway.
Investigators said that the accident took place off southbound lanes of the highway south of Freeman Road near Katy.
According to officials, two women, both 27 years old, were reportedly in a Ford Escape traveling southbound along Grand Parkway. For reasons not confirmed, the vehicle ended up off-road where it crashed. The vehicle overturned in the process.
Due to the accident, the passenger in the Ford was seriously injured. The driver had less serious injuries. Right now, additional details are unavailable.

One thing to consider with single-vehicle wrecks is they’re not often seen as a high priority. Sometimes, authorities end up missing important details because they’re rushed to handle other responsibilities. Meanwhile, a proper investigation needs to consider multiple complex factors. Were there vehicle defects? Were there road hazards? Was the driver over-served by an alcohol provider? Did a tire blow out? If investigators haven’t covered these things, then there may need to be a more thorough independent investigation to pick up the slack.
