Harris County, TX — June 16, 2024, two people were injured following a car accident just before 10:00 p.m. along Farm to Market 2100.
According to authorities, a 34-year-old man was traveling in a northbound Volvo on F.M. 2100 at the Smith Road intersection when the accident took place.
The three-way intersection is apparently controlled by a traffic signal. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision took place between the Volvo and an eastbound Infiniti which had been attempting a left turn from Smith Road to head north on F.M. 2100. It remains unclear which vehicle had the right of way at the time of the wreck.
The man from the Volvo suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the crash. The man from the Infinity apparently sustained minor injuries, as well. They were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identities of the victims—are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
