Habersham County, GA — March 6, 2025, Five people were injured following a car accident that occurred at around 12:24 P.M. on GA 365.
An investigation is underway into a car accident that left 5 people injured during the afternoon hours of March 6th. According to official reports, a Ford Taurus was travelling on GA 365 in the northbound lanes approaching the intersection of Demorest-Mt. Airy Highway when it attempted to drive between two stopped vehicle at the red light, a Tesla and a Jeep, striking both in the rear as it passed through them. The Taurus then entered the intersection where it collided with a BMW that was making a turn.
When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that a total of five people had sustained serious injuries and they were transported to the hospital. At this time there has been no further information released about the accident, including the status of their injuries and identities..
