Fort Worth, TX — February 7, 2024, four people were injured in a car accident shortly after 3:45 in the afternoon along Summit Avenue.

According to authorities, a 34-year-old man was traveling in a southbound Hyundai Kona on Summit Avenue attempting to make a left turn onto eastbound Lancaster Avenue when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that the Hyundai had a flashing yellow light at the time, but neglected to yield the right of way to northbound traffic. As a result, the Hyundai was involved in a collision with a northbound Chevrolet Tahoe occupied by two men—ages 28 and 40—and a 39-year-old woman. All three victims from the Tahoe and the sole occupant of the Hyundai incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the accident and were transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
