Ector County, TX — November 19, 2023, two people were injured in a car accident at approximately 2:45 in the morning along State Loop 338.
According to reports, a 32-year-old man was traveling in a westbound Mitsubishi Eclipse along State Loop 338 some distance east of the State Highway 385 intersection when the accident took place.

For reasons which have yet to be confirmed, the Eclipse drifted left of center and partially into the eastbound lane of the road. This resulted in a collision with an oncoming Ford F-150 occupied by another 32-year-old man. The collision caused the pickup truck to spin and overturn onto the driver’s side, coming to rest in the shoulder of the westbound lane. The Eclipse also went into a spin, coming to a rest facing east. The two victims both incurred reportedly severe injuries as a result of the accident; they were each transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive treatment.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reportedly clear and dry. Additional details—including the identities of those involved—are not available at this point in time.
