Corpus Christi, TX — July 18, 2024, one person was injured following a single-vehicle car accident during the night hours along South Padre Island Drive.
According to authorities, the accident took place n South Padre Island Drive in the vicinity west of Flour Bluff Drive.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a vehicle was involved in a single-car accident. One person who was occupying the vehicle was reportedly entrapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by emergency personnel. Once freed from the aftermath, the victim was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment for the injuries incurred over the course of the accident.
