Austin, TX — February 12, 2024, two children and one adult were injured in a car accident shortly before 7:30 p.m. along Bastrop Highway.
According to authorities, the accident took place on Bastrop Highway in the vicinity of Montopolis Drive.
The causal factors that led to the crash are still unclear. Officials confirm that two separate vehicles were involved. A child who was an occupant of one of the vehicles incurred apparently critical injuries as a result of the wreck. A second child also incurred suspected serious injuries. They were both transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive immediate treatment. An adult who was also involved in the crash allegedly sustained injuries, as well, though they refused to be transported by EMS for care.
