Angelina County, TX — January 30, 2024, one person was injured in a car accident shortly before 7:30 p.m. along State Highway 103.
According to reports, a 19-year-old woman was traveling in a westbound Honda Accord on State Highway 103 approaching the Farm to Market 706 intersection when the accident took place.
The Honda was reportedly slowing in order to make a left turn. Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the Honda was rear-ended by a Chevy Silverado pickup truck which had allegedly failed to properly control its speed.
The 19-year-old woman incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the collision. She was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment.
