Amarillo, TX — October 17, 2024, One person was injured following an accident at around 6:00 A.M. on Interstate 40.
Details are limited following an accident that involved three vehicles Thursday morning, with one person being seriously injured. According to official reports, a Chevrolet Silverado lost control for unknown reasons while on I-40 near Whitaker Road, causing it to strike a Chevrolet Suburban.
We have learned that the Suburban then rolled several times, ejecting the driver in the process who we know is a 32 year old man, though his identity has not been released.
There was also a third vehicle involved in this accident, however no occupants are reported to have sustained injuries.
