Tarrant County, TX —May 17, 2024, Candice Richard was injured following a car accident shortly before 5:30 p.m. along Jacksboro Hwy, S.H. 199.
According to authorities, 41-year-old Candice Richard was traveling in a northwest bound Kia Forte along S.H. 199 at the Biway Street intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a southeast bound Chevrolet Suburban on Jacksboro Highway attempted a left turn onto the biway street, entering the intersection at the same time as the Forte. This resulted in a collision between the front-end of the Suburban and the front-left side of the Forte. It is unclear, according to reports, which vehicle had the right of way at the time of the accident.
Richard suffered reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck; she was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
