How Did This Accident Occur?

This may seem like a straight-forward accident to some who read about it, but what if there was more to this crash that we can see at this point? A full investigation is necessary to unearth the facts needed to provide the Ram driver and his family with a clear picture of what happened on F.M. 366.

Was the pickup driver distracted, perhaps by a cell phone? Did the truck have working brake lights? Did the Ram have an issue with its brakes or steering mechanism

Authorities will pore over vehicle data, physical evidence, witness statements and any available video footage to piece together the events leading to this accident. Cell phone records could show what each driver was doing at the time, but an in-depth inspection of the vehicles will be needed if investigators suspect a mechanical problem contributed to this crash.

Few law enforcement agencies have the time or training for such examinations, but those affected by this crash deserve to know as much as possible about what caused it.
