Harris County, TX — January 7, 2024, Caleigh Medley and one other were killed following a car accident at around 3:23 a.m. on F.M. 1960.
Authorities said following preliminary investigations that the crash took place off the corner of F.M. 1960 and Contitental Parkway, just off Timber Forest Drive.

According to officials, 24-year-old Caleigh Medley was in a Kia Forte going westbound along F.M. 1960. From the eastbound lanes, it appears a Nissan Rogue went across the center divide and crashed head-on into Medley’s vehicle.
As a result of the collision, both Medley and the driver of the Nissan sustained fatal injuries. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. Right now, the cause of the crash has yet to be confirmed.

Perhaps Investigators are still looking into this crash, but according to the information I can find, they only seem to know that one vehicle crossed in front of the other. There’s no word on why that happened or even what possibilities authorities might be considering. It strikes me as odd they’ve said so little about two people dying in a serious crash. Are authorities just being unusually tight-lipped about their investigations here, or do they really not know more than one car crossed the center line?
