New York, NY — December 11, 2025, one person was injured due to a bus accident that happened around 4:35 p.m. along East 41st Street.

Investigators said that the incident happened between the intersections of Lexington Avenue and Park Avenue.

It appears that a Newark Airport Express bus was along East 41st Street at the time. In events not clear, the bus ran across the sidewalk and crashed into scaffolding along the outside of the building. Due to this, one person was reportedly injured. It’s unclear how that person was involved in the accident.

At this time, additional details about the accident are unavailable.

Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

One would think that a professional driver in the New York-New Jersey area would be able to handle driving on these streets. The fact something went so terribly wrong here raises serious questions. Was there something unusual wrong with the bus that caused it to jolt forward? Or, would investigations show there’s an issue with this driver’s training or driving record? Only one person was hurt here, but it’s important to know what went wrong before more people get hurt in the future.
