Montgomery County, TX — February 27, 2025, a man sustained injuries as the result of a bulldozer accident at around 3:15 p.m. off of Rayford Road.
Initial details reported by Scott Engle of the Montgomery County Police Reporter says the incident happened in an area near Rayford Road and Highway 99, near Spring and The Woodlands.

Right now, exact details are unclear. It appears that a bulldozer was backing up at the time when it ran over an unidentified man. That man was taken to a hospital with reportedly critical injuries.
It’s unclear whether the victim was also working at the time or what their relation is, if any, to the bulldozer operator. Additional details are pending investigations.
Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Something that isn’t clear right now is if the victim was also working at the time of the accident. This can have drastically different legal implications for victims and families. If someone just happens to be on the property while others are working, and they’re injured due to a worker’s actions, their potential legal avenue would be similar to anyone harmed due to an outside party, such as an 18-wheeler accident or premises liability.
However, if the victim is a co-worker, their situation may fall within the boundaries of Texas work injury law. It just so happens Texas has the most complex work injury law of any other state in the country. Depending on the employer, there is not always a guarantee the victim and their loved ones will get benefits.
Either way, it’s not likely that an accident like this is ever going to be open-and-shut, so hopefully investigations are being taken seriously.
