How Did This Accident Occur?

Authorities likely will work to reconstruct this crash like any other accident, but if a blood test confirms that the Chevrolet driver was intoxicated, the investigation should continue beyond the scene.

Someone needs to figure out where he had been drinking before the crash. If he was drinking at a bar or restaurant, that alcohol provided could share responsibility for this crash if the driver was served while he was obviously intoxicated.

Figuring that out will take some digging, but the injured driver and his family deserve to know who may have played a role in this crash.
