How Did This Accident Occur?

I’m certainly not going to draw any conclusions without having any details about the accident. These incidents could be anything from electrocution to equipment malfunctions to falls to unforeseeable medical emergencies. What’s important to know is not just that OSHA is looking into the accident but also that someone is getting answers for the victim’s loved ones.

Texas happens to have uniquely challenging work accident laws. There isn’t always some automatic process for getting a resolution. So, families often need to explore their options, and they can’t really do that if they’re left with unanswered questions. Hopefully, authorities have been able to keep the family in the loop as investigations go on. However, if there needed to be a secondary independent investigation to get the full story, it would be far from the first time.
