How Did This Accident Occur?

One of these vehicles likely moved out of its lane to cause this crash, but we don’t know which one from the information made public at this point. That is why a full investigation is needed.

Was one of the drivers fatigued or distracted? Did one of these vehicles have a problem with its steering mechanism? Did one vehicle leave its lane because it was avoiding another car or an object in the road?

The only way to answer these questions is by going through witness statements, evidence from the scene, data from the vehicles and any available video footage. Cell phone records can show if one of these drivers was distracted, but it likely will take an independent expert to diagnose any mechanical issues that may have contributed to the crash.

An in-depth investigation is needed, though, so the injured woman and her family can get a full understanding of what happened on Lauder Road.
