Amarillo, TX — May 3, 2024, Breanna Campbell and one other person were injured in a car accident shortly before 7:30 p.m. along Bowie Street.
According to authorities, 30-year-old Breanna Campbell was traveling in a northbound Hyundai Sonata on Bowie Street at the SW 44th Street intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, a westbound Jaguar occupied by two 31-year-old men on 44th Street entered the intersection at an apparently unsafe time, resulting in a collision between the front-end of the Sonata and the front-left side of the Jaguar.
Campbell suffered reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck. One of the men from the Jaguar also sustained moderate injuries, according to reports. They were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
