Midland County, TX — December 15, 2023, Brandon Sepeda and a child were injured in a truck accident shortly before 7:30 p.m. along S.H. 158.
According to reports, 37-year-old Brandon Sepeda and a 5-year-old girl were traveling in a northwest bound Ford F-350 along State Highway 158 in the vicinity between the C.R. 1135 and C.R. 1140 intersections when the accident took place.
Authorities indicate that an 18-wheeler was attempting to back out of a private drive onto the highway at an unsafe time; as a result, the pickup truck collided with the back right corner of the big rig’s trailer. The young girl sustained suspected minor injuries in the accident, but Sepeda reportedly incurred serious injuries. Both were taken to a local medical facility in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries were reported.
The accident is under active investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reported to have been clear and dry. There are not currently any additional details available pertaining to this incident.
