Reeves County, TX — December 18, 2023, Bradley Cornelison and two others were injured in a truck accident shortely after 5:15 in the evening along U.S. 285.
According to reports, 55-year-old Bradley Cornelison was traveling in a southwest bound Chevy pickup truck on Texas Highway 302 at the U.S. Highway 285 intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that the pickup ignored the marked gore area of the highway indicating that the lane was to be used to merge onto northeast bound S.H. 285; instead, it attempted to make a U-turn onto the southeast bound lanes at an allegedly unsafe time. This maneuver resulted in the left side of the pickup being struck by a northwest bound 18-wheeler. The collision caused the two vehicles to barrel into the southeast bound lanes. As a result, the 18-wheeler was also involved in a head-on collision with an oncoming Ford F-250.
The 35-year-old man who had been in the Ford F-250 and the 48-year-old man who had been in the 18-wheeler both sustained suspected moderate injuries due to the wreck. Cornelison, however, incurred suspected severe injuries. All three victims were transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services in order to receive treatment.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing. No additional details are currently available.
