How Did This Accident Occur?

It’s easy to assume this crash was caused by driver error, but that doesn’t provide clear answers about what happened for the driver’s loved ones. The only way to get those answers, in my experience, is to wait for the investigation to play out.

I expect authorities to consider whether driver error caused this crash. They’ll probably look for unexpected obstacles that might have forced the pickup off the road too, but will they check the Dodge for a software error or lane departure warning system failure? Maybe not.

Those affected by this crash deserve answers that can only come from a thorough investigation, even if that has to be done by an independent third-party.
