When it comes to pedestrian accidents, it’s sometimes all too easy for people to jump to conclusions. They might think everything comes down to who had the right-of-way. As important as that is, there’s often more to consider. What is signage like? Are there insufficient road markings or signals? Was distraction a factor? Was intoxication involved? Was there some sort of emergency going on? Likely or not, it’s important all possible factors get attention so that authorities can be sure the victim’s loved ones know they’re getting the whole story.
