Harris County, TX — October 19, 2024, Blake Jimenez was injured following a single-car accident at approximately 3:00 a.m. along University Drive.
According to authorities, 26-year-old Blake Jimenez was traveling in a southbound Audi on Martin Luther King Boulevard at the University Drive intersection when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the vehicle failed to safely maintain its lane of travel. It reportedly veered to the left, striking a curb, leaving the roadway and overturning, rolling an unknown number of times before coming to a stop.
Jimenez incurred critical injuries as a result of the wreck and transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive immediate treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
