Dallas, TX — December 22, 2025, one person was killed and two people were injured following a car accident late Sunday/early Monday along Duncanville Road.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the accident happened just off the Duncanville Road and West Illinois Avenue intersection, sometime before 12:30 a.m. overnight Sunday.
Investigators said that a man and two women were in a vehicle going along Duncanville Road. Somehow, the vehicle lost control and ran off-road, and it crashed into a tree. Due to the crash, the man in the vehicle was killed. The two women had reportedly non-critical injuries.

People often jump to conclusions with overnights accidents like these. They also tend to look at single-vehicle wrecks less than favorably. At the end of the day, though, it’s the evidence that needs to have the final say. That means looking at road conditions, signage, lighting, possible vehicle defects, camera footage, cellphone records, and all kinds of other complex details to piece together the story. It’s not about what is or isn’t likely; it’s about letting the evidence speak for itself. That way, the families affected by the crash at least will know they’re getting the full story.
