How Did This Accident Occur?
People tend to assume that a vehicle losing control like this must be due to driver error. But there are all kinds of factors which can lead to a crossover accident like this, and not all of them are foreseeable or avoidable. What if a tire blew out? What if the driver experienced a medical emergency? Did the vehicle hit something in the road? Have authorities inspected the car for defects? Was there another reckless driver involved who fled the scene? Likely or not, I’ve seen these sorts of factors happen across hundreds of commercial vehicle accident cases. It’s important the investigations are handled by professionals who can at least rule out all of these possibilities. That way, families know they’re getting the full story, and they have as much information going forward as possible.
