Dallas, TX — December 31, 2023, a bicyclist was injured as the result of a hit-and-run accident at around 8:25 p.m. along North Buckner Boulevard.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the accident happened near the intersection of North Buckner Boulevard and Peavy Road.
According to officials, the victim was a 37-year-old man who was riding a bicycle along the far right northbound lane of Buckner. While there, a vehicle struck the cyclist, throwing them into the roadway. The vehicle then left the scene.
The cyclist was taken from the scene with serious injuries following the collision. Right now, there is no available description of the runaway vehicle. No further information is available pending investigations.
