Accident Report

July 19, 2026, a woman was injured due to a bicycle versus car accident just after 9:00 p.m. along Spencer Highway.

According to authorities, a 53-year-old woman was riding a bicycle at the Spencer Highway and Allen-Genoa Road intersection when the accident took place. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision occurred at the intersection between the bicycle and the back-left quarter of an eastbound Toyota Camry.

After over three decades in this line of work, I feel like I’ve seen it all. Could that have been the case here as well? I do hope the investigators—whether the authorities or, if need be, a third party—are meticulous and openminded enough to get to the bottom of it. After all, the people affected by this accident deserve more than vague assumptions based on surface-level investigation.
