How Did This Accident Occur?

We can make as many assumptions as we want about what happened in this accident, but until the authorities have completed their investigation, we can’t know for sure. Hopefully, they have the wherewithal to look past the surface level evidence and pull back the layers of the accident in order to unearth any underlying causes. What caused the vehicle to strike the bike? Had it lost control due to a throttle issue? Was it suffering from brake failure? Was the driver distracted, fatigued, or impaired? Honestly, it could have been any number of things.

If it turns out that the authorities’ investigation is subpar, a third party investigation can always step in, just to make sure no stone goes unturned. After all, the bicyclist and his loved ones deserve to know what the cause of the accident actually was, not just feeble assumptions.
