Ector County, TX — June 11, 2024, Bianca Orona and one other person were injured in a car accident shortly after 6:45 a.m. along the I.H. 20 service road.
According to authorities, 27-year-old Bianca Orona was traveling in a southbound Chevrolet Cruze on Grant Avenue at the I.H. 20 service road intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck occupied by a 38-year-old man on the service road entered the intersection at the same time as the Cruze. This resulted in a collision between the front-left side of the pickup and the front-end of the Cruze. It is still unclear which vehicle had the right of way at the time of the accident.
Orona suffered reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck. She was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. The man from the pickup truck sustained moderate injuries, as well, according to reports.
Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
