Woodsboro, TX — July 17, 2024, Beau Lee and another person were injured following a car accident at approximately 10:30 a.m. along U.S. Highway 77.
According to authorities, 19-year-old Beau Lee and a 17-year-old girl were traveling in a Honda Civic on U.S. 77 at the Second Street intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a westbound Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck on Second Street attempted a right turn onto northbound U.S. 77 at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way to highway traffic. This led to a collision between the Honda and the Dodge.
Both Lee and the girl who was also in the Honda sustained injuries of unknown severity; they were transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
