Hopefully authorities made progress here and simply haven’t released much information publicly. If they have yet to identify the driver, releasing more information to the public could yield results. Someone is often able to connect the dots and help authorities locate the suspect. Once that happens, there can be steps to see there is accountability not just for the driver leaving the scene but also for whatever led to the accident in the first place. Ultimately, those affected by a serious car accident deserve to know all contributing factors are going to get attention.
