Euless, TX — June 16, 2024, Barachel Arrey was injured as the result of a car accident at around 1:00 a.m. along Mid Cities Boulevard.
According to preliminary details from authorities, the crash happened at the intersection of West Mid Cities Boulevard and North Main Street.
Officials said that 69-year-old Barachel Arrey was in a Nissan Altima which was going eastbound on Mid Cities. At the intersection, the vehicle made contact with a Mitsubishi making a turn. This caused Arrey’s vehicle to go off-road, hit a pole, and overturn. Arrey was seriously injured as a result. There did not appear to be any other injuries.

One thing that concerns me in situations like this is when a victim is seriously injured and may not have been able to tell their side of the story. It might surprise people how often authorities base their entire investigations on statements given to them on the scene. If a victim isn’t there to speak for themselves, authorities might miss something if they aren’t particularly more thorough than a typical police investigation. Maybe authorities have been thorough here, but it wouldn’t be unusual if authorities were letting something important slip through the cracks here.
