How Did This Accident Occur?

Many people might be tempted to call this crash a case of driver error, but my experience in investigating commercial vehicle accidents has taught me that things are seldom as simple as they may appear.

The indication that the Freightliner’s load shifted warrants some scrutiny of whoever loaded this truck. Perhaps the cargo was loaded improperly, contributing to the crash after the truck went off the road.

A thorough investigation will determine if the person or company that loaded the truck, or anyone else, should be held accountable for this crash.
