Dallas, TX — May 10, 2025, a child and a man were killed, and another child was hurt in a motorcycle accident at a baby shower at around 6:00 p.m.
Authorities say the incident took place of the corner of Lancaster Road and Kiest Boulevard in the Oak Cliff area.
Investigators said that a gathering was taking place for a baby shower. Meanwhile, statements say there was a motorcyclist “burning rubber” in the area. At some point, that motorcycle lost control, went onto the sidewalk, and struck at least two children and crashed the bike.
Due to the collision, an 8-year-old girl was killed. The motorcyclist also reportedly sustained fatal injuries. A 7-year-old hit by the motorcycle was taken from the scene with injuries. Right now, the factors surrounding the accident are still under investigation.
