Arlington, TX — December 25, 2023, Aundrels West and one other were injured after an alleged intoxicated driver accident around 6:00 p.m. on Highway 360.
Investigators said following preliminary statements that the crash happened in the area of Highway 360 and Road to Six Flags Street.
Details suggest that 33-year-old Aundrels West was a passenger in a Chevy Cobalt reportedly going southbound on Highway 360. At an entrance ramp, police say that a Chevy Tahoe merging into lanes of travel veered into the path of the Cobalt, and the vehicles collided.
Due to the collision, West sustained apparently serious injuries. The driver of the Cobalt had apparently moderate injuries. There were no other confirmed injuries. After the crash, authorities say they determined that the Tahoe driver under the influence of alcohol. They recommended charges for intoxication assault.
